Surya Namaskar : Surya namaskar exercise is devoted to the worship of SUN which is the provider of energy, light and heat. It has been practiced in Bharat for thousands of years. The complete set of “asanas” combined with proper deep and rhythmic breathing can provide significant physical and mental benefits. They can be practiced any time of the time, however, morning on an empty stomach are preferred. - Pose 1 (and 12) : The first and twelfth pose Promotes balance and stimulates the respiratory system and exercises shoulder, back and neck muscles.
